Finalist, NatGeo Your Shot Daily Dozen (Sept 3, 2016)

Yesterday, September 2, 2016, my photo of Jacks against a wall in Balicasag was selected by Nat Geo photo editors as a favorite and was included in National Geographic Your Shot's Daily Dozen! This is the second time this year that my photo was selected (first was the wolf snappers back in Feb), and I feel extremely lucky to have gotten this honor. The wining photo gets featured on Nat Geo Your Shot's Instagram and gets printed in the next issue of National Geographic magazine. Unfortunately, I found out about the selection late and wasn't able to rally enough votes from friends, family, and associates in time for the 12nn cutoff the next day. Still, I am very grateful for having been selected--and for the second time in a year at that.
